EMG ELDRO® Direct current

EMG ELDRO® DC

EMG ELDRO® DC

EMG ELDRO® thrusters in DC design are used in systems with existing DC mains.

Operating principle

The electrical connection of the units must be made in parallel with the motors. Electrical connection of the ELDRO® motors in series is not possible.

The ELDRO® DC series is also used for opening brakes in the event of a power failure of the three-phase supply. For this purpose, the units are installed in the brake as an additional thruster and can then be supplied with a DC voltage, for example from a battery. This can then be used, for example, to safely set down loads in the hoist.

Customer benefits

  • Use in installations with existing DC mains
  • Current transformers are not required
  • All units in function and endurance run are 100 % tested and recorded
