EMG ELDROclassic® -
Thruster
In EMG's electro-hydraulic thrusters, all the elements of a hydraulic actuation system are combined into one compact unit. When switched off, the hydraulic piston with the piston rod is in its lower end position. When switched on, the hydraulic pump delivers the operating fluid under the piston and thus generates the hydraulic pressure. This moves the piston up to the maximum stroke. The counterforce generated by a built-in brake or return spring or an external load - e.g. a brake - must be safely overcome.
Our thrusters are also available in an explosion-proof version, as a DC series and, in combination with various sensors, as a digital version.
