EMG ELDRO® - Internal sensors and integral design

Today we present further details of the most important new and further developments in the innovative design of the new EMG ELDRO® generation: 

Internal stroke path monitoring 

This is an additional alternative to the external limit switches on the proven EMG thrusters ELDRO® and ELHY®.

These internal sensors offer enormous advantages: 

  • pre-setting according to customer requirements on delivery,
  • no possibility of manipulation 
  • reliable protection against external damage.

You as the customer decide: Internal sensors of the new generation or the proven external limit switches of the previous design!

Ease of maintenance due to integral design

Another important advantage of the new generation EMG ELDRO® is the distinct ease of maintenance due to the integral design and the elimination of the intermediate flange. Fewer components mean fewer repairs and simpler stock-keeping, as well as a longer service life and greater reliability! The elimination of the intermediate flange also minimises the risk of leakage.

By using a guide strip on the piston, there is less wear between the piston and the cylinder. In addition, the piston diameter can be easily adapted to your requirements by using a cylinder tube. In this case, a higher diameter leads to an increase in the maximum lifting force, a smaller diameter reduces the lifting/lowering time.
